Life has finally slowed down...time to breathe.

Life has finally slowed down, thank goodness. Don't get me wrong, I usually enjoy staying busy. However, this past month has been very insane.
My trip to Phoenix was amazing. I couldn't believe how hot it was. I got to meet so many people. What really blew me away was the heat. (It didn't help that the company I work for required us to wear long sleeve shirts on two of the days.) The first day I was there, it was 118 degrees with no humidity. It broke some recorded that day. It was an adventure and one that I won't forget anytime soon. I can mark Arizona off my list of states to visit.
The next crazy event was a friend's wedding. It was an outdoor wedding, which would have been beautiful if it hadn't rained. Besides that, it was such a beautiful ceremony and the reception was a lot of fun. The bride didn't wear a typical white gown, but it was more of a bluish green simmering ballgown with roses on it. The guys were dressed more in the 1940's dapper style. The whole thing was so creative. I had so much fun just dancing. One of my friends tried to teach me how to two-step. That didn't go so well. But I tried it.
That same weekend, there was a family reunion. I finally got to meet the newest cousins from CA. They are so precious. I truly enjoyed spending time with everyone. The family members from CA don't get back here very often, so each minute is precious. I just have a feeling the next time I may see them all together will be years, probably when Grandma dies. I just hope it is sooner than that.
Well, there is a brief update on what has been happening. I just need a weekend to relax. :-)
